Arabella Golf Mallorca Raises €10,000 in the Charity Tournament “Let’s Play for Valencia” at Golf Son Muntaner

18 de December de 2024

An inspiring day of solidarity and sport in support of those affected by the DANA storm in the Valencian Community.

Last Friday, December 13th, Arabella Golf Mallorca successfully hosted the charity tournament “Let’s Play for Valencia” at Golf Son Muntaner. Thanks to the generosity and commitment of players, collaborators, and attendees, a total of €10,000 was raised, with all proceeds going directly to support those affected by the recent DANA storm that struck the Valencian Community.

Of this amount, €7,000 came from player registrations and donations by members and friends of the club. An additional €3,000 was contributed by Arabella Golf Mallorca, as the cost of the meal was intentionally excluded from registrations to maximize the charitable impact.

One of the highlights of the event was the participation of Aritz Aduriz, former professional footballer, who brought his passion and enthusiasm to this meaningful day.

Acknowledgements and Commitment from Arabella Golf Mallorca

Arabella Golf Mallorca would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event possible:

  • To the participants for their solidarity and enthusiasm.
  • To the volunteers and collaborators, whose dedication was essential to the tournament’s success.
  • To the anonymous donors, who contributed through the Optional Donation Line initiative and donation account.

“This tournament proves that golf has the power to bring us together for causes bigger than the game itself. Thanks to the players, collaborators, donors, and the ownership, we achieved something extraordinary: transforming a day of golf into an act of support and commitment,” said Bernat Llobera, Golf Director of Arabella Golf Mallorca.

The entire amount raised will be allocated to reconstruction and assistance efforts in the areas most affected by the DANA storm, reaffirming the essential purpose of the event.
