It is a special award that Alexandra Schörghuber has received for her decades of commitment to quality tourism on the holiday island of Mallorca: Following a unanimous decision by the jury of the Illes Balears Tourism Prize, she has been awarded the “Ambassador of the Balearic Islands” prize.
With the St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort, the Castillo Hotel Son Vida and the Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel, three outstanding hotels with exclusive spa areas, an award-winning gourmet restaurant and four varied golf courses are part of the sophisticated hotel and golf offer that the Schörghuber family has created on Mallorca. When it comes to the sustainable operation of hotels and golf courses, Arabella Hoteles e Inversiones de España is now a front-runner, and active participation and promotion of the circular economy on Mallorca is a matter of course. The aspiration to establish quality tourism at the highest level runs as a leitmotif through all the entrepreneurial activities of the Schörghuber family on the island.
